The Problem

If you have excess pubic fat, you may notice that this fat overhangs your underwear. When this area has a lot of fat it may not be possible to see your genitals at all when looking down. When you look in the mirror your penis may appear shorter as it becomes buried within this overhang of fat.

Sometimes there is also extra skin too around the pubic area, it might not just be a problem of fat. Where there is a surplus of loose skin it would require removal through a relevant surgical procedure like a tummy tuck as liposuction alone would not improve this.

When the Supra Pubic Pad is removed it makes the penis look longer. This is because it makes the genitals seem more exposed than before the procedure.

The Penis. Everything you need to know about your penis.

The Solution

If you have good skin tone but just have excess fatty tissue in the area near or over the pubic bone there are two options for reducing or removing this fat. The first option is Liposuction. This is a surgical procedure that removes excess fat and is usually performed under general anaesthetic. In most cases you can go home on the same day of treatment and you should arrange to take about one week off work. Expect some bruising and swelling for the first week or two. Liposuction is very effective in removing stubborn areas of fat.

There is an alternative to surgery and the pubic area can be reduced with a treatment called Aqualyx. This treatment is performed by a Doctor and it has become very popular for spot fat reduction. Aqualyx is an injectable treatment which means you can go home immediately after the treatment. It makes sense to take things easy for a few days but most people return to work without any problems.

Aqualyx works by destroying the fat cells. The active ingredient is deoxycholic acid which actually liquefies the fat cells. These fat cells are then excreted by the body naturally. Aqualyx is established in 49 countries worldwide and has an excellent safety record. More than one treatment may be required to successfully reduce the pubic fat pad and the Doctor will assess you at the consultation to give you an indication as to how many treatments are required.

Pubic Fat and Excess Skin

Where the skin has lost its elasticity Aqualyx or liposuction alone may not be enough to reduce your pubic pad enough. However, there is more that can be done in such cases. Together with liposuction to remove any excess fat, we can also remove the excess skin at the same time. This will flatten the area nicely and if your penis was buried within this overhang it will become much more visible and appear longer.

Pubic fat pad removal and penis enlargement

It is possible to combine pubic fat pad removal, also known as mons pubis liposuction, and penis enlargement surgery, in fact, many of our patients do. For example, liposuction can be performed on the pubic area at the same time as penile lengthening surgery or penis girth surgery. The added advantage is that this combination procedure also works out cheaper than having the two operations separately. If you would like to consider Aqualyx treatment for the fat pad removal then this can be performed before or after penis enlargement surgery.

Aqualyx treatment to reduce the pubic fat pad is also very popular together with penis enlargement injections to thicken the penis. In this combination procedure, the penis can be enlarged and the fat pad can be reduced without the need for any surgery.
