The degree of deformity of the penis does vary between men. Some experience an angle of deformity of greater than 60%.

How do Peyronies disease injections work ?

Peyronie’s disease injections work by disrupting the collagen plaque that causes the curvature. It is injected into the plaque by a qualified Doctor. Following the treatment the Doctor will perform a “penile modelling” procedure which he/she will also teach you how to do this at home.

What are the advantages of Peyronie’s disease injection?

This is a minimally invasive treatment. It does not require Peyronies disease surgery which is a surgical operation performed under general anaesthetic.
For most men, there is a significant improvement in the degree of curvature. A number of sessions may be required to achieve optimal results.

Where the improvement is minimal the surgical option would need to be explored.

What should I do next ?

If you have a curvature in your penis and would like to explore a non surgical approach, then contact us today and arrange an appointment with one of our Urology Doctors.
