There are both surgical and non-surgical options to increase your penis size. Both make the penis bigger, but each in its own way. The option you decide to choose will depend on a number of factors. For example, start by asking yourself these questions and it might shape your thoughts
1. Do you want the penis to be longer, or are you only interested in getting more penis girth ?
2. Are you prepared to take a short time off work after the procedure, or do you want something where you can return to work straight away ?
3. Do you mind having a general anaesthetic, or are you wanting only local anaesthetic ?
4. Are you wanting permanent results, or would you be happy with having repeat treatments ?
Surgical penis enlargement is considered still the gold standard way to increase penis size. In most cases this involves the cutting of the suspensory ligaments that are holding some extra length back to the bone. In such cases an increase of between one and two inches can be expected, and with permanent results. In almost all cases men choose to increase the flaccid and erect girth at the same time with a fat transfer. This fat is harvested from the belly and inner thighs. It is then purified and the purified fat cells are then injected into the penis, underneath the skin, to enhance the thickness.
The recovery time for this surgery is six weeks. No gym, sporting activity or sexual activity for this period of time. Most men go back to work within one week.
The most common treatment to increase penis size without surgery is with the injection of hyaluronic acid.
This non-surgical approach is a girth enhancing treatment that is performed under local anaesthetic.
Results are temporary with the longest-lasting hyaluronic acid lasting up to two years before more treatment will be required to maintain the results. Because the treatment is performed under local anaesthetic there is no hospital stay required.
The recovery time is quicker. No gym, sport or sex for seven to ten days only.
This filler will slowly break down over time and it must be remembered that although this treatment will be cheaper n the short term, it is mor expensive in the longer term than surgery because of the need for further treatment.
It should also be noted that this treatment is a girth enhancing treatment, the length may look better because of the weight of the filler on the penis, but it is not a lengthening treatment.
When considering surgical vs Non-surgical penis enlargement , one must consider the potential risks and complications. Whilst it is true to say that most patients who have a penis enlargement will not experience any complciations, they do exist and you should be aware of them.
Risks and complications my include:
- Infection
- Bruising and swelling
- Asymmetry
- Phimosis in uncircumcised men
