Now one of the most pressing questions we are asked here at Moorgate Andrology after the patient has had penis enlargement surgery, is “how soon can I have sex after surgery?”. Well, in this blog we will answer just that.
First we will start off with exactly what you will need to do after your surgery, and that is attend a consultation with your Moorgate Andrology, during which they will give you detailed post operation instructions, change your medical dressing and answer any questions that you might have.
Two weeks after your penis enlargement surgery you will need to start the post-operative rehabilitation, which involves penile stretching and daily gentle massaging of the penis shaft – detailed instructions will be provided to you post-operatively. By the end of the procedure you will have a few inches of length on top of what you currently have, and this can at times cause mild pains and aches this is normal immediately after the operation.
Now, moving on to the part we are all asking about, how soon after you have had the operation completed can you have intercourse again. The simple answer is usually around 6 weeks, the penis erection however will work straight away, so much so that pills are required at times to be given to some patients to be able to avoid erections. After these 6 weeks the patient should be able to go back to sexual intercourse, of course if you have any problems during this time, this could set you back, but the chances of this occurring are very slim.
So, that was the answer to how long it will be before you are able to have sexual intercourse again, post operation.
