Dr. O’Flaherty a Clinical Psychologist, registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC, Reg: PYL35174), and Chartered by the British Psychological Society (Reg: 181156).
He has worked in the NHS for over 13 years and currently works at a leading NHS hospital in London.
Dr. O’Flaherty can help in a wide range of issues that affect men including:

Dr. O’Flaherty says: “My research interests lie in men’s mental health and factors affecting men accessing psychological therapy. A number of men say they feel too embarrassed or do not want to be perceived by others as being weak by accessing therapy. They then tend to go on silently struggling or using other unhelpful coping strategies. However, I strongly believe and recognise that it can take a lot of strength to seek support and I aim to create a safe space where clients can share their experiences, explore their feelings and make positive changes within a confidential setting. As well as men, I also work with people of all genders.”

Dr O’Flaherty is a very important member of the medical team at Moorgate. He provides pre –operative assessment support and reports for the Doctors and Surgeons, guidance and professional counselling services for patients in need of more than surgical or other medical intervention.
