Can peyronies disease improve without treatment ?

Peyronie’s disease can sometimes improve on its own, but this is rare. The condition is caused by scar tissue (plaque) developing inside the penis, which leads to curvature and sometimes pain during erection.

In mild cases, where the curvature is small and symptoms are minimal, the plaque may soften or stabilise over time. However, most men will notice that their condition either remains the same or slowly worsens without treatment.

At Moorgate Andrology, we offer several options for Peyronie’s disease, including collegenese injections, penile traction therapy, and surgical options like plaque incision and grafting or the Nesbit procedure.
If you’re concerned about curvature or pain, it’s always best to get assessed early.
