Platelet-rich plasma is the newest treatment available here at Moorgate Andrology and can be used to treat a range of problems such as erectile dysfunction. Platelet-rich plasma, sometimes abbreviated to PRP is nothing new and has been around for some time as it’s used extensively in different areas of medicine, such as orthopaedics, dental surgery, Urology and also in sports medicine to help athletes repair their sports injuries.
Can PRP be used for penile enhancement?
It’s great at regenerating tissue, as well as being useful in some aspects of penile enhancement. If you want to achieve stronger, firmer erections, this is possible with PRP. Why? Because it uses the regenerating powers of your own blood, it increases blood flow and blood circulation in the penis. It is possible to get stronger, firmer erections, improve sexual stamina and improve sexual sensations through PRP treatment.
Will PRP increase penis size?
A lot of men are coming to us here at Moorgate Andrology for PRP treatment in conjunction with our Hyaluronic acid treatments to thicken the penis. They come to us and have a Hyaluronic acid treatment to thicken the penis and a PRP treatment at the same time to get a general improvement in the sexual function, at the same time.
How does it work?
PRP works quite simply, it’s a blood sample taken from the arm by a doctor. This is done using the same method as a usual blood test that you would have at your GP. This blood is then placed into special tubes that go into a centrifuge, which is a machine that spins the blood very quickly to separate the blood platelets from the plasma. It produces a concentration of platelets for the doctor to re-inject into the penile shaft.
Over the following three months you will see an improvement in sexual performance. As well as this, the appearance of your penis, for example, the skin tone and quality, can also be improved. If you’re interested in having Platelet-rich plasma treatment, then do get in touch with us here at Moorgate Andrology so we can book you a consultation to come and see one of our Urologists.
