Sedentary / desk-based job: 2–3 days before returning to light duties
Manual / physically demanding work: 1 week off work is usually recommended
Heavy-labour or duties involving lifting: may require a bit longer (discuss during consultation)

Jobs with lots of walking, standing, lifting, or physical exertion may require more time off to avoid discomfort and protect healing tissues.
