Is my penis too small? That has been a question asked by many men since the dawn of time. The vast majority of these men are in for a surprise. Worrying about small penis size is common. Abnormally small penis size is not. But before we talk about whether a micro penis is common or not, we must first determine what a micropenis actually is.
Do I have a Micropenis?
You might think that as long as a man’s penis works, he would have no problem with it. You would be wrong. Penis size is a key element of a man’s self-image. Yet when he is not boasting, the average man significantly underestimates the size of his manhood. Generally, the size of an average penis on a man is 5.24 inches, if you are a little bit smaller than that you will have a lot of company with an equal amount of men being just below the average penis size as men just above or at average penis size. So, what size is a Micropenis you ask?
Well, a Micropenis is a penis that is below 3 inches. Fortunately, Micropenis is a rare condition.
But just how rare is a Micropenis condition you ask? Well, the answer is very rare. In fact, there are only 0.6% of men who have a Micropenis. In perspective that is on par with the 0.6% of men who have an SPL (stretched penile length) of 6.8 inches or more. But too big isn’t what men tend to worry about is it?
Can a Micropenis be treated?
So, what can be done to help people with a Micropenis? Well, surgically there isn’t much that will significantly increase the penis size in length or girth that is not fraught with significant complications. Alternatively, there is also a traction device that can stretch the penis. But this too will only add on about an inch or so to the penis length, based on studies and anecdotal reports.
